Draft program
Day 1 – Depart Taba border at 0100hrs. Drive through the Sinai and arrive Cairo 0700hrs. Eat breakfast and continue to Pyramids area 0900hrs till 1300hrs (Memphis, Sakkara, Pyramids, Valley Temple), visit papyrus Institute. 14.00- optional lunch on route. Accommodation in the hotel. Free time in the afternoon. Evening option – Sound and light show at Pyramids.
Day 2 - After breakfast visit Museum till 12-1300hrs: visit Citadel, Mohamed Ali Mosque and Bazaar till 1800hrs. Lunch on the route. Return to Hotel. Transfer and overnight train to Aswan.
Day 3 - Arrive Aswan. Transfer from train station to cruiser. Visit of the High dam and the unfinished obelisk. Lunch. Visit Botanical Gardens by Felluca. Dinner and overnight on cruiser.
Day 4 - Breakfast. Sail to Kom Ombo. Lunch. Visit Sobek Temple. Sail to Edfu. Visit Horus Temple. Dinner and overnight on Cruiser.
Day 5 - Breakfast. Sail to Luxor. Lunch. Visit Karnak and Luxor Temples. Dinner and overnight on cruiser.
Day 6 - Breakfast. Visit Valley of Kings. Drive to El Baharia, Collosses of Memnon. Lunch. Transfer to train station for overnight sleeper train to Cairo.
Day 7 - Transfer from train to sightseeing tour: visit Old Cairo (Churches, Synagogues) till 1200hrs, depart for Air port or Taba Border.
