The 1928 eighty-nine acre Hellabrunn Zoo, geographically organized, has over four thousand animals from around the world. Some of the zoo’s most popular features are the free-flight aviary, elephant house, and ape houses. Another wonderful place to visit is the interior of the Cathedral Church of Our Lady with its two rows of tall octagonal pillars and Gothic design. The Munich Botanic Gardens with its exception landscaping and over fifteen thousand plants growing both inside and out of doors is a spectacular sight.
