Kathmandu and Nagarkot Cultural Tour
5 night 6 days 

Nagarkot is a popular place to see the Himalayan mountain ranges, particularly at sunrise. It lies at an altitude of 2175m and it is 32 km north east of Kathmandu. It is the nearest place to enjoy real panoramic views of the Kathmandu valley. From Nagarkot the nearby mountains are Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Dorje Lakpa, Sishapangma, Gauri Shanker and more. When the sun begins to rise from behind the Himalayas the view is spectacular as the mountains change colour. Many tourists go to Nagarkot and stay overnight in order to enjoy the sunrise and the scenic beauty of the countryside. From Nagarkot one can hike to Changunarayan, Banepa and to Sankhu Vajrayogini.
Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at airport, meeting and transfer to Kathmandu hotel, free for rest of the day.
Day 2 After breakfast departure for half day city sightseeing tour. Evening Nepali cultural program.
Day 3 Half day Kathmandu and Patan city sightseeing and afternoon transfer to Nagarkot. Overnight at Nagarkot.
Day 4 Day hiking Nagarkot to Bhaktapur and then overnight at Dhulikhel.
Day 5 Drive back to Kathmandu, with the rest of the day free day for shopping or sightseeing.
Day 6 Departure: transfer to airport for onward journey.
